The less you enjoy serving on committees, the more likely you are to be pressed
to do so. (Explanation: If you do not like committees, you keep quiet, nod your
head, and look wise while thinking of something else and thereby acquire the
reputation of being a judicious and cooperative colleague; if you enjoy
committees, you talk a lot, make many suggestions and are regarded by the other
members as a nuisance.
