1. Find a niche that allows you to pursue a personal passion.
2. Test your idea to make sure you've identified a market, not just a need.
3. Say goodbye to family and friends--you won't see much of them for two or
three years.
4. Dive in, be prepared to fail, be prepared to succeed, be willing to
change course.
5. Consider learning a real craft, or getting a real job.
