Have a tape recording of your self going: "Yes (pause) uh
huh (pause) hmmm (pause) mmm, yeah (pause) ..." repeated
indefinitley. As soon as you realize that it's a telephone
solictor you turn on the recording, put it by the speaker and
leave.
