Mr. Faraj Aalaei is a veteran of high tech industry with more than 22 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He is the CEO of Centillium Communications, a publicly traded company on NASDAQ, which he co-founded in 1997. Centillium pioneered the broadband communication industry by developing market leading DSL semiconductor solutions. Prior to Centillium, Faraj held various management and research and development positions with Fujitsu, AT&T Bell Laboratories and M/A Comm. He has chaired international standard committees on broadband and made significant contribution to the development of today's broadband networks. Faraj is on the advisory board of a number of high tech companies in Silicon Valley. He is also on the advisory board of venture capital funds. Faraj holds a MSEE from University of Massachusetts and an MBA from University of New Hampshire. He holds two U.S. patents. |
