Shermine Shahrivar, a 22-year-old of Iranian origin won the title of Miss Europe 2005 in Paris. Shermine won 50,000 Euro in cash, a trip to Tunisia, an Alp region winter vacation, and a 15'000 Euro necklace.
Shermine was born in Iran but left the country with her famiy for Germany when she was one year old. She became Miss Germany last year and then Miss Europe this year in France.
The 174 cm beauty queen, has a university degree in Social Sciences; speaks Persian, German, English and French.
