Development Director, IAPAC Mrs. Haghighat has worked with Triton Systems, Inc. (TSI) since 1990. As TSI successfully grew and spun-off several technologies into their own businesses, Taeiss had the opportunity to work in a variety of areas, including accounting, human resources and government and commercial contracts. Choosing to focus on intellectual property law, Taeiss has built a reputable team at TSI, ensuring the company's success in protecting their intellectual property. Taeiss has extensive experience in managing and implementing fund development activities and producing charitable and political contributions. She has managed and coordinated fundraising activities for candidates running for public office in Massachusetts at the local, state and federal levels. In addition, Taeiss serves on the Executive Committee of her local elementary school PTO and on the School Superintendent Advisory Committee. A volunteer at a local food pantry, she has worked to raise funds and services for their annual Thanksgiving dinners. In September of 2004, Taeiss organized the Iranian American Immigration Forum in Boston, MA. The forum was hosted by Congressman Marty Meehan and included a panel of speakers who addressed different aspects of the U.S. immigration process, specifically as it relates to the Iranian American community. Taeiss earned her B.S. in Biology and Business Administration from Marymount College in New York. She is currently working towards her Masters Degree in Leadership with a double concentration in Intellectual Property and Knowledge Management from Northeastern University. |
