Mr. Haghighat is an Iranian American and the founder and Chairman of the Board of Triton Systems, Inc., a leading edge nanotechnology company in Boston, Massachusetts. Triton Systems incubates disruptive product solutions in the fields of life science and engineering, nanoelectronics and advanced composite technologies. Triton leverages US Government and private equity funds to identify product gaps in the market place and then develops product solutions that provide step change for those markets where gaps exist. Triton boasts a number of breakthrough products which include; point of care diagnostic sensors for myocardial injury, targeted nanotherapies for breast cancer, flexible electronics, and advanced aerospace composite structures. Mr. Haghighat serves on the Board of Directors of a number of high-tech firms in the Boston area, including; Elecon, Inc., a development stage firm focused on organic semiconductors, SI2, a early stage firm focused on the development of passive and active conformal electronic components, and Triton BioSystems, a leading edge developer of targeted therapy for late stage cancer patients. Earlier in his career, he managed a high technology group at a consulting firm for 7 years. Mr. Haghighat holds graduate degrees in materials science, organometallic chemistry, and in business administration. |
