I was born in Tehran and so my being is full of acacias, huge old maples, running water, towering mountains and the soft desert. My university education and first work experience was in Paris and so my soul is filled with this city¹s fineness and its beautiful cobbled streets. I often ask myself, is it not important for a lover of art to know how the artist feels and thinks and how much is she capable of transforming spiritual experience to the material world? The intimacy the artist feels with herself and the surrounding world and the resulting meditation, is the prime factor in the final work of art she is capable of producing. And finally the artist¹s search for the deepest secret in her soul is more valuable than the tendency to define or change the world. This process of creativity is inevitable and as vital as breathing to the end.
