Tara Bahrampour is a correspondent for The New York Times, writing news and feature articles for the City, Metro, Education, Business and Magazine sections. In addition, she freelances features, book reviews and essays for The American Scholar, Village Voice, Travel and Leisure and The New Republic among others. She is the author of To See and See Again: A Life in Iran and America (Farrar, Straus & Giroux 1999). At NYU, she will teach "The Journalistic Tradition," starting in fall 2002.
