Instructions to Make Yogort at Home ------------------------------------ - Turn the oven light on and keep its door closed. - Get a frying pan that you don't mind sctraches on. - Pour some water in it (not too full). - Put a pot full of milk in the frying pan. - Put the pan on the stove and heat for about 30-45 minutes (until it reaches 130-150 degrees). - Take the pot out of the pan and let it sit for about an hour or so until the temparature falls below 110 degrees. You can optionally pour the heated milk in a plastic container as it is easier to store later. - Add the culture (1 spoon/litre, or 4 spoons/gallon). - Optional: Add any flavour you want (e.g. maple syrup, vanilla, etc.). - Put the pot (or plastic container) in the oven and let it sit there for at least 6-7 hours. - Do not stir the yogurt and put it in the fridge for about 12 hours. - Your yogurt is ready.
